Hiyah, I'm very exhausted, after the entire weekend. There's no more energy left for the new week!
On Saturday, I taught for the entire day, from 9am to 6pm, for 8.5h (half an hour break), then I had dinner with my cousin. Wanted to join my friends for some reunion dinner but I was too late. Anyway, I got up early on Sunday for a fund raising car-wash at East Coast Lagoon. Sunburnt. Physically and mentally tired.
All these left with with not much time to rest, not to mention doing Spring Cleaning! Once again I was caught in between my mum and dad as they argued about when to do Spring Cleaning. Apparently my mum's been procrastinating it and my dad's not too happy about it. I really want to tell him that there's no use telling me because the person he's targetting is my mum.
I think there's really not much to look forward to on weekends cos it's always so exhausting. I've already given my notice for resignation. I can't really bear to go because of my little darlings and my colleagues but I guessed it's really way too taxing for me.
And guess what! I have to teach on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year too! Simply because it's saturday and the centre is not closed. And we don't even get ang-baos or higher pay for the effort to go down to teach! Talk about incentive and welfare!
My throat really hurts now, it's a bad time to be down with sore throat! Imagine all the New Year goodies! Today I went down to the supermarket after my car wash and it was extremely crowded! Even for those who are not celebrating CNY are rushing to buy stuffs too cos almost all shops would be closed for the first two days of the CNY.
I do want to drop by Chinatown though. There should be lots to see. Apparently they are going to lit some fire-crackers on New Year's eve. (In case you are not aware, fire crackers, alongside with chewy gums, are banned in Sg!) So there's going to be a huge crowd waiting to witness it!
Okay I got to go to bed. The throat is bad, my face is red and am radiating heat. Let's hope that I wouldn't be down with fever.
Good night.
