Happy Valentine's Day
Looking at the clock now, I would have only 3+ hours of rest before I need to wake up. Tomorrow's my second last day with my little darlings! Having mixed feeling about it. On one hand, I can't bear to leave, on the end, I'm yearning for a good rest.

So anyway, I went for my hall's very own Dance Production today. I think it's better than last year's, though my friend thinks otherwise. Nevertheless, I felt quite "left out" in the sense that almost all my neighbours were involved and I am not. It's mostly due to the fact that I have too many other committments. I would love to do again, minus the unglam factors!

Last year I did Wardrobe. We laterally sew 95% of the costumes. I'm not talking about adding some sequins or doing alterations. I'm talking about sewing everything from scratch. Not like we are all professional seamstresses. But well, we were made to clean up the dressing room after the show was over, while all the dancers could go around to take pictures with their friends.

In the end we have to carry their personal boxes to the loading bay and get them transported back to hall. We were screamed at when it wasn't done fast enough. And all other sh*t. When would they understand? Without us, they'll have nothing to wear. Without the marketing committee, there would be no money to finance the production. Without the sets builders, there would be no stage crew or stage sets. Without the Publicity Committee, no one would know about the event. All of them worked together. The show isn't only about DANCERS!

So anyway!!! Yes they should show their appreciation by letting those dancers do some unglam stuff too. But well, that would never happen. Life is so unfair.

Okay enough of complaining. I think I'm really beat.

Good night!

P/s: I've been "head-hunted" to take up an important post in hall. I'm still considering. Don't know if I'm really up to it or if I could get the right people to work with. Maintaining the hall's prestige is also a concern. I'm flattered though!
