Bad luck is contagious
It's been a bad week for me. A dosage of a combination of stress, exhaustion and unhappiness can proved to be rather detrimental to the well-being of a person.

Dad got into trouble with the law. Not a major offense or what so jail term is impossible. Mostly likely it'll be a fine and some punitive actions would be taken against him. I was pretty saddened by his stroke of bad luck - by the way, his offense was drunk driving, but all he had was just two mugs of beer during dinner, he would usually catch a cab after his regular drinking session with friends - but my dad was just telling me not to take things on face value.

He was almost consoling me for his misfortune! He said that it might be a blessing in disguise - he could have been involved in a fatal accident or something worse, but instead, his guardian angel watched over him and let him get away with a little offense. Dad told me he's sad too because it's highly possible that he might not get to drive his mazda 6 for some time, but he is going to take things in his stride. After all, somethings are just destinated. No point brooding over it.

Next thing was that the lock for dear's bike seat was damaged by someone and his helmet, cash card and all were stolen. This happened just two days after my dad's unfortunate incident. He had parked his bike at the same car park for the past few years and nothing of such sort had happened. Maybe he had rubbed some bad luck from me. Sigh.

And the whole week had been hectic because I was trying to complete an IT project. I enjoyed working on the proj with my former jc classmate - teaming up with her was such a pleasure! She took a lot of initiative and was extremely accommodating. I learnt quite a bit of stuff about all the actual information systems used in mncs and was quite impressed! Can't help but feel small again. Yes - there is a big and beautiful world outside for me to explore.

Okay I'm not too coherent now cos I'm quite tired.

Anyway I've been working on organising a bazaar with the other heads of the marketing committees for the past few week. As usual, my schedule had been hectic and to a certain extent, punishing, but all the planning is going to be materialized come wednesday. Let's hope that everything would be going smoothly and that I would be able to sit back and reap the fruits of my labour.

Good night folks.
