Other significant events in 2005
Eusoff DnD March 2005
This was the first collage I made so its only 9 pictures though I have a whole folder of them! Had fun on that night too. Jane helped to curl my hair! So pretty right! Other friends dressed up in very adorable costumes!
Convocation - July 2005
Unexpected Graduation
Yup actually I didn't want to go for convocation cos at that time I still couldn't quite accept the fact that I screwed up my last sem (technically the entire 3rd year) so I had to graduate. Plus my parents ain't in very good terms so my dad refused to be in the same picture with my mum so the family shot had to be separate. It's really quite pathetic. Anyway my cousin, Nat came back to sg from London on that day so she rushed down! How sweet! Plus my girlfriends were down to support too!

1st Aug 2005 marks 6 years of romance!

6 years together.. it wasn't a bed of roses but i'm glad we survived and are still going strong.. many beautiful days ahead!

Dec 2005 - 2 become 1

Presenting.. Mr and Mrs Benjamin Toh

I want to take such B&W running shots for my wedding too.. I think its very romantic! Haha! Anyway cheers and congrats to the newly-weds!

So this kind of wrapped up 2005. Its been a rather unpleasant year - rejected application for NOC (maybe I can never quite get over that totally), unexpected graduation, family trauma.. all in all, the emotional upheavals, the initial jittery about not being able to measure up against the other graduates (i still feel that i am damn capable and its truly their loss not to hire me!). Its been a bumpy ride.

I'm thankful for friends and family (dear you fall under the latter category) who stood by me and never stop believing in me. I'm thankful for the opportunity to travel around the region and to widen my horizons. Travelling has always been the top of my wish list! So hence the new msg on the right column. That's from my mentor who never fails to rekindle the sparkle within me. She always encourages me to pluck up my courage to go against conformity and also assure me that success in life need not mean having a big car, a big house or climbing the coporate ladder. She taught me to separate materialism and ambitions. Its about following your passion and not being afraid to take the road less travelled - that's exactly what I'm doing right now!

This 2006, I wish that things will start going my way (its got to be my turn already right?), for strength in adversity, for happiness in my life, for a peace of mind and for the best of health!

And of course, I wish that I can still be alive to count down to 2007.
