Right after Project Barefoot, lei and I embarked on a backpacking trip to Vietnam. Actually by the time we arrived at Vietnam, we were pretty much worn out by the long and bumpy bus rides from Phnom Penh. We experienced a lot of difficulties as tourists mainly because of language barrier. Its ironical that I have so much in common with the Vietnamese in terms of physical appearance but in actual fact I can communicate better with a Caucasian! And don't get me started on the terrible episode at the Hanoi Airport trying to converse with the stuff about my overweight baggage! It was quite a nightmare. But all in all, the entire back packing trip was my first and was definitely an eye-opening experience nevertheless!

1st purchasing trip!
Bangkok remains at the top of my list of fav vacation spot! That's not only because I've only been to a few countries, but its the food and shopping that I love! You can always shop till you drop or eat good food without burning a hole in your pocket! What's more its only 2+hour away by plane! (Opps do I sound like a travel bronchure already?) I missed BKK and will definitely go there again!
