D is for Dare.
D is Dare to Dream.
And whatever that dream might be.
When I was growing up, here are the list of things I've wanted to be (I still think of materializing these "dreams" sometimes - just indulging in childhood fantasy):
1) A Doctor - yes, until I realised that I am so not a science person.
2) A Nurse - until I realised that I look fat in that white uniform.
3) A teacher - just because I could write anything I want on that chalkboard!
4) A newscaster - i love the attention! And the make up! And the hair! Haha
5) A cashier - I A-D-O-R-E the cash register ( I still do!) *Di-di-di ching!*a
6) A stewardess (shouts to sy!) - until I realised that I'm too short and fat
7) A rich man's daughter / rich tai-tai - until I realised that its just not in my destiny (i can only bang on the latter - pray that mr ng {the real one} make it big okay! haha)
8) A top scorer - I've never gotten that first position in my class
9) A bride - the photos, the dress.. forget the man! haha
10) A hawker - (sell noodles or kueh tu-tu) Its always been fascinating for me!
11) A pianist - a potential that I never quite explored fully
12) A dancer - I can never be that graceful swan!
Funny how I've never wanted to become a coach, despite being so committed in my athletic pursuits during my schooling days. It just never occur to me.
