Road Trip
I survived 7.5hours X 2 (to and fro) ride from SG back to Karak, my dad's hometown. The milege recorded in my dad's car was almost 1000km! Looking back, I don't know how I used to occupy my time during the past trips! For this trip, I found it particularly excruciating. I mean it's not even like I was made to drive or what.. I had the luxury of remaining on the passenger's seat throughout the entire trip.. maybe I'm just too exhausted..

But then again I did spent almost the entire Saturday sleeping away - I dozed off in the car, on the sofa, and slept like a log on the bed! I was just trying to recover from the sheer exhaustion of the friday evening trip (straight after work!), sleeping at 130am then waking up at 530am to visit my grandparents' and eldest uncle's grave before sunrise. Not to mention all that physical workout of conquering the steep stairs and the slopes.. why can't graveyards be a bit more human-friendly?

Basically it was a very short and sweet trip, with enough time to catch up with the rest of the family. Whenever we visit, my nieces and nephews would have grown quite a bit since the last time we saw them! Time just flew by some quickly! Its been almost 1 year and 2 months since we last went back (CNY of 2007). Would definitely miss the yum cha sessions (after breakfast, before lunch) and the sumptuous hakka yong tau foo!

Ok for now its back to reality, I'm going to have to sleep now, if not I'll definitely be very drained tomorrow.

Back to sg, back to work!!!!!!

Will upload more photos again!
